Eat, Pray, Love....movie review!

If you must watch this movie...go with a friend who brings lunch, fresh seasoned pasta and chicken in Tupperware with cutlery conveniently wrapped in a napkin...oh and bottled water in her backpack (recession movie time).  Cat and I wouldn't have actually spent the money to watch this movie except that we are being interviewed for a Florida morning show on Monday and they want us to discuss current "Chick Flicks" in addition to our book.  So back to the movie...we personally didn't have much sympathy for the main character when her version of a "tragedy" and leaving her life to travel the world...involved estranging a 28 year old hottie actor.  Really???  If you call that a tragic reason to leave all of your friends who love you - to find strangers to love - because you ultimately don't love yourself...then you should leave the country.  I know most "normal" people have enough to love right where they are - and love themselves enough (right where they are) never to have to "search" for what is right in front of them - somewhere else.  O.K., if they had knocked out 40 minutes of the movie it would have been much more tolerable to catch the real reason she needed to travel...very hot ending!!!  Not a bad way to spend the afternoon with your best friend and co-author!!!
